As data storage and computing power have made access to data easier, tools have become available to help workers in many different roles analyze data to find insights and opportunities, and develop visual reports to show those insights, as well as report performance. In this lesson, you will describe data analysis and visualization for business intelligence (BI), and how users can perform self-service BI with Microsoft Power BI. Tableau: Tableau is a tool for visualizing data. The visualizations created in Tableau can help users explore, analyze, and report insights. Before you can do any of those things, you must learn the fundamentals of the software, including what it’s designed to do, and how the user interface is laid out. In this lesson, you will learn the fundamentals of using Tableau for data visualization, exploration, and analysis.

IBEW Local 164 offers a five-year apprenticeship training program that is administered jointly with the Bergen-Essex-Hudson Division of the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA). Electrical apprentices in Local 164 attend school during the day on a full time, paid basis, with instruction provided by a staff of full time paid professional instructors. To achieve Journeyman status, all five years must be successfully completed, as well as satisfactory performance on the rigorous final apprenticeship examination.

The iQ4 Academy Macro-Credential program is a workforce development training platform that offers 8,10, and 12-week projects in cybersecurity, cloud, and more. It combines technical training with applied, mentor-led, cohort-based learning with real-world cases and scenarios. Content is developed by the Cybersecurity Workforce Alliance, a 4,100-member organization, consisting of employers, subject matter experts, and university faculty and administration. The iQ4 Academy Macro-Credential program is delivered multimodal (online, hybrid, in-person) as a pre-apprenticeship or internship with job roles and on-the-job training hours, as specified by the U.S. Department of Labor for pre-apprenticeship programs in cybersecurity. The program includes technical training by professional certification organizations like CompTIA and International Information System Security Certification Consortium, or (ISC)².
