The ServSafe Manager Certification, administered by the National Restaurant Association, ensures food service managers meet food safety standards set by the FDA Food Code. It covers critical topics like foodborne illnesses, safe food handling, and hygiene, and head chefs and shift managers are often required by law to have this certification on file. Having this certification boosts credibility, helps with career advancement, and reduces the risk of food safety issues. For those in culinary education, it demonstrates a commitment to industry standards. The ServSafe class is a 6-hour review class, followed by the actual exam that is administered by an ANSI (American National Standards Institute) and NRA (National Restaurant Association) proctor. This program is offered several times throughout the year and is offered in Spanish and English.

Apprentice must maintain a grade of 80 or better. Apprentice will be required to complete 8000 hours on-the-job training to become Journeyman Electrician. Upon satisfactory completion of one year of school and work, apprentice will be sworn in as an IBEW member.

Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Training

The Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (CVIS) certificate program at AIMS Education equips students with the specialized skills needed to assist in invasive cardiovascular procedures. Graduates will be prepared to work alongside interventional cardiologists, cardiac nurse practitioners, and cardiac nurses in diagnosing and treating heart and vascular diseases. Students will gain expertise in performing procedures such as cardiac catheterization, stent placement, angiography, and electrophysiology studies. With a focus on hands-on training and real-world clinical experiences, this program prepares students to become essential members of cardiac catheterization labs. Upon completion of the Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist program, graduates are eligible to sit for the Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) examination through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI). Earning the RCIS credential demonstrates proficiency and enhances career prospects in invasive cardiovascular technology.

Diagnostic Cardiac Sonography Training

The Diagnostic Cardiac Sonography (DCS) certificate program is programmatically accredited by CAAHEP for the Adult Echocardiography concentration. This program prepares students to become entry-level cardiac sonographers. Graduates will be able to find employment in hospitals, diagnostic imaging centers, and other healthcare related facilities. The DCS program is taught using a hybrid/blended learning environment. Graduates who pass the Registered Cardiac Sonographer exam will earn the RCS credential from CCI. Graduates who pass the SPI exam and the Adult Echocardiography specialty exam will earn the RDCS credential from ARDMS.

The Pharmacy Technician (PhT) program is a PTCB-Recognized Education/Training Program. The program will provide students with the basic competencies needed for employment as a pharmacy technician in retail and hospital settings. Pharmacy Technician courses are taught fully online, and a clinical internship will be completed at an assigned clinical site. Pharmacy technician graduates are eligible to take the Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam offered by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB). Graduates who pass the exam will earn the Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) credential. Eligibility requirements for the CPhT credential are solely determined by PTCB, and are subject to change at any time. PTCB is an independent organization. AIMS does not guarantee certification/registry exam eligibility. Pharmacy technicians in New Jersey are required to register with the State Board of Pharmacy.

Graduates who pass the certification exams can earn the Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential from AAMA, the Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) credential from AMT, or the Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) credential from NHA. Graduates of the Medical Assistant training program are also eligible for the phlebotomy certification and EKG certification exams offered by NHA.

The Mammography Technologist continuing education course offers ARRT-registered radiologic technologists the opportunity to advance their careers by specializing in mammography. Participants who complete the full Mammography Technologist course will be eligible to sit for the Mammography Certification Exam from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) . CMT graduates are eligible to take the Certified Cardiographic Technician (CCT) exam and the Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician (CRAT) exam offered by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI). Graduates who pass the CCT exam will earn the Certified Cardiographic Technician credential, and those who pass the CRAT exam will earn the Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician credential.
