We Make Enrichment Program

We Make - Autism at Work
  • Basic Skills/Job Readiness - Disability Employment

Instead of continuing to ask people with autism to adjust to traditional work environments, We Make built a workspace centered around the specific needs of persons with autism and their abilities. The goal is to give adults with autism a new sense of pride and purpose. To foster real careers instead of simply offering jobs. And to produce the kind of goods everyone can feel genuinely good about. As a safe, comfortable and nurturing work environment that’s part of a true manufacturing company, employees at We Make work with their hands in mini-teams to assemble and package small parts that will be used in vinyl fencing and railing products sold at leading home improvement stores.
