MCDWD may provide adult workers with intensive services, training services (when appropriate), and related supportive services. When WIOA adult worker customers are unsuccessful in acquiring or retaining self-sufficient unsubsidized employment through core services, more intensive services are made available. An adult worker is an individual who: -Is 18+ years old -Is authorized to work in the United States -Resides in Monmouth County -Is unemployed, under-employed or in need of a skills upgrade

Provider Information - Monmouth County Workforce Development

The Monmouth County Workforce Development Board is the entity that implements the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act in Monmouth County. Appointed by local elected officials, the Board is responsible for planning and overseeing local workforce development programs. The majority of the board members are business representatives while other members include representatives of education providers, labor organizations, community-based organizations, economic development agencies, and partners.
