Followed by 40 hours of hands-on experience in a licensed long-term care facility, allowing students to apply their learning in a real-world setting. The 90-hour rigorous training program provides a comprehensive foundation in the knowledge and skills necessary to provide safe and effective patient care. Hands-on experience in a real-world setting is crucial for developing practical skills and gaining confidence in providing patient care. The focus on meeting the psychological, social, physical, and environmental needs of patients emphasizes the importance of providing compassionate and person-centered care. Course cost does include fees for the NJ State Department of Health certification.
