This course is designed to introduce the student to the use of IBM PC’s and “compatibles”. It will give the student a basic understanding of computer functions and tasks within the windows environment. Topics include: Windows98 operating system; components of the workstation; identifying parts of a window and dialog box; managing files; customizingwindows; maintaining your computer; and working with windows programs.
