The objective of this course is to prepare students for the Network Certification Exam, a highly recognized certification for technicians. This course provides enough information for the students to identify the components andtypes of a network, different media used in Local Area Networks and Wide AreaNetworks; identify and differentiate among Networking standards, protocols and access methods; recognize primary network architectures, including Ethernet, Token Ring and Arcnet. Compare Ethernet 10BaseT, 10Base2, and 10Base5 networks.
