On-the-Job Training (Cumberland County)
Provided by Cumberland Salem Cape May Workforce Development Board
Employers who hire for full-time positions that pay $15.13 per hour (COUNTY) $16 per hour (STATE) or more are reimbursed 50% of the salary (capped at $6000-COUNTY & $10,000-STATE) for agreeing to provide training for a period of UP TO 26 weeks to an unemployed jobseeker or a public assistance recipient.

The Cumberland • Salem • Cape May Workforce Development Board coordinates One-Stop services among all three counties. The services highlighted on the Cumberland • Salem • Cape May Workforce Development website are supported by the NJDOL with funds from the USDOL through the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act. The board provides oversight and support to various workforce and business development related grants and programs operated through the One Stop Career Center System.
