Phlebotomy Technician Program

Graduates will become Registered or Certified Phlebotomy Technician, upon completion of the program graduates will be able to go for (non-mandatory) internship in some of the nationally known laboratories, and they will be ready to work in clinics, doctor's offices, hospitals, and laboratory, with their skills to perform venipuncture (draw blood) accurately, handling and transporting various specimens to the laboratory, front office responsibilities, input laboratory request into the computer database and to also download and print out lab results, patient intake process including medical history information, and assist the physician in basic bedside laboratory testing.
