Web Designing and Programming

This course will introduce web design and development, as well as programming, with no prior experience required. Students will first be taught HTML (HyperText Markup Language) for laying out the structure of a website, and CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) for styling it according to the latest standards, with mobile device accessibility in mind. Once proficient in building HTML & CSS templates, students will make their foray into programming with JavaScript, which will allow them to make their websites truly interactive. Upon completing the course, students will know how to design, develop, and host their own websites or web apps.
