Workfirst New Jersey (WFNJ) is pleased to provide additional life-changing services to Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) recipients in Monmouth County. Residents who are currently receiving SNAP or TANF services have the opportunity to access additional support services such as: -Occupational and Trade Training -Work Readiness Workshops -Career-Building Opportunities -Transportation/Bus Pass -Job Search Assistance -Individualized Case Management -Community Work Experience -Soft Skill Training -Training Assistance

Provider Information - Monmouth County Workforce Development

The Monmouth County Workforce Development Board is the entity that implements the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act in Monmouth County. Appointed by local elected officials, the Board is responsible for planning and overseeing local workforce development programs. The majority of the board members are business representatives while other members include representatives of education providers, labor organizations, community-based organizations, economic development agencies, and partners.
