Focus NJ Launches Taskforce in Partnership with NJBIA

Focus NJ is looking to expand our workforce research to further reflect our new realities, in a coronavirus pandemic world.  As such, NJBIA & Focus NJ have partnered again to launch the Education & Workforce Development Taskforce to evaluate the recommendation status of The Education Equation, further comprehend the collaborative efforts around the state in the education/workforce development arena and to discuss the major challenges that we face today with respect to these issues.

The taskforce includes key leaders from industry, academia (K-16), workforce development boards, and state government from our executive and legislative branches. As a result of our taskforce conversations, our goal is to identify recommendations that help to reskill, rehire, and reshape New Jersey’s workforce. We also want to identify ways that we can ensure that NJ’s future workforce is prepared to enter the labor force.
